To celebrate the 299th anniversary of the city of Cuiabá, we teamed up with Unimed Cuiabá to honor what keeps the city’s stories alive to this day: its memories and the people who live there.

We created a book focused on the elderly, not only to help them remember the stories and moments they’ve lived alongside the city, but to do something more: help prevent, even in a small way, Alzheimer’s.

This cognitive stimulation through memories is an effective therapy against neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and also supports the treatment of patients who already face these conditions.

The Therapy of Memories book takes readers on a journey into the past, encouraging them to exercise the mind and, in doing so, preserve the city’s memories.
